Research progress of whole-cell-SELEX selection and the application of cell-targeting aptamer
TL;DR: This review reviews the latest advances of WC-SELEX techniques that are dependent on novel instruments, materials and microelectronics, including fluorescence-activated cell sorting-assisted SELEX, three-dimensional assisted WC- SeleX, and microfluidic chip system-assisted WC-SeLEX and is aimed at providing a reference for WC-seLEX selection and application of aptamer targeting cells.

A review of advances in aptamer-based cell detection technology
TL;DR: This review is expected to provide a reference for achieving efficient and accurate detection of cells as well as improving the usefulness of aptamers in the field of analytical applications.

In vitro selection and characterization of a DNA aptamer targeted to Prorocentrum minimum-A common harmful algae.
TL;DR: In this article , the aptamer against Prorocentrum minimum was generated from an artificially synthesized single-stranded DNA library by systematic evolution of ligand by exponential enrichment (SELEX), using P. minimum and P. donghaiense as target and counter-screening species, respectively.

A detection method for Prorocentrum minimum by an aptamer-gold nanoparticles based colorimetric assay.
TL;DR: In this article , the authors reported a simple and rapid colorimetric assay that is named aptamer-gold nanoparticles (GNPs) based colorimetry assay (AGBCA), which is characterized by simplicity, strong specificity and high sensitivity and is thus promising for the quantitative detection of P. minimum in natural samples.

OsTHA8 encodes a pentatricopeptide repeat protein required for RNA editing and splicing during rice chloroplast development
Yanwei Wang,Yu Duan,Peng-Fei Ai +2 more
TL;DR: In this article , a rice mutant exhibiting pale green color and seedling lethality was isolated from a mutant library and identified as an ortholog of THA8 (thylakoid assembly 8) in Arabidopsis and maize.
