TL;DR: It is revealed that SPOP binds to and induces the nondegradative ubiquitination of MyD88 by recognizing an atypical SPOP-binding motif in MyD 88, which suppresses DLBCL cell growth in vitro and tumor xenograft in vivo by inhibiting the MyD87/NF-κB signaling.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported that upon DNA damage, SPOP is phosphorylated at Ser 119 by the ATM serine/threonine kinase, which potentiates the binding of SPOP to homeodomain-interacting protein kinase 2 (HIPK2), resulting in a nondegradative ubiquitination of HIPK2.
