CRL3-SPOP ubiquitin ligase complex suppresses the growth of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma by negatively regulating the MyD88/NF-κB signaling.
Xiaofeng Jin,Qing Shi,Qian Li,Linyi Zhou,Jian Wang,Lei Jiang,Xiaying Zhao,Kai Feng,Ting Lin,Zihan Lin,Hui Zhuang,Jianye Yang,Chongke Hu,Luyi Zhang,Liliang Shen,Ying Lu,Jie Zhu,Haibiao Wang,Honggang Qi,Xiaodan Meng,Yang Xi,Jinchang Pan,Shuai Fang,Haihua Tian,Chengwei Zhou,Pingzhao Zhang,Kun Gao,Shimin Zhao,Yao Li,Zhaohui Gong,Chenji Wang +30 more
TL;DR: It is revealed that SPOP binds to and induces the nondegradative ubiquitination of MyD88 by recognizing an atypical SPOP-binding motif in MyD 88, which suppresses DLBCL cell growth in vitro and tumor xenograft in vivo by inhibiting the MyD87/NF-κB signaling.

SPOP targets oncogenic protein ZBTB3 for destruction to suppress endometrial cancer.
Xiaofeng Jin,Jian Wang,Qian Li,Hui Zhuang,Jianye Yang,Zihan Lin,Ting Lin,Zeheng Lv,Liliang Shen,Chunhong Yan,Jingfei Zheng,Jie Zhu,Zhaohui Gong,Chenji Wang,Kun Gao +14 more
TL;DR: The data indicate that pharmacological inhibition of Sonic hedgehog represents a possible treatment strategy for SPOP-mutated ECs and RUSKI-43, a small molecule inhibitor of SHH, suppresses cell proliferation, migration, and invasion in SPop-depleted or EC-associated SPOP mutant-overexpressed EC cells.

SPOP suppresses testicular germ cell tumors progression through ubiquitination and degradation of DPPA2.
Jian Wang,Hui Zhuang,Hui Zhang,Qian Li,Xinyi Cao,Zihan Lin,Ting Lin,Xiwei Chen,Xiaoqi Ni,Jianye Yang,Yiting Zhao,Liliang Shen,Haibiao Wang,Jie Zhu,Meng Ye,Xiaofeng Jin +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, the germ line-specific factor DPPA2 was identified as a proteolytic substrate for the SPOP-CUL3-RBX1 E3 ubiquitin-ligase complex.

- 26 Nov 2019
TL;DR: In this paper, a preparation method of escherichia coli DH5-alpha high efficiency competent cells is presented. But the method is not suitable for high-efficiency competent cells.
Prostate cancer-associated SPOP mutations lead to genomic instability through disruption of the SPOP-HIPK2 axis.
Xiaofeng Jin,Shi Qing,Qian Li,Hui Zhuang,Liliang Shen,Jinhui Li,Honggang Qi,Ting Lin,Zihan Lin,Jian Wang,Xinyi Cao,Jianye Yang,Qi Ma,Linghua Cong,Yang Xi,Shuai Fang,Xiaodan Meng,Zhaohui Gong,Meng Ye,Shuyun Wang,Chenji Wang,Kun Gao +21 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported that upon DNA damage, SPOP is phosphorylated at Ser 119 by the ATM serine/threonine kinase, which potentiates the binding of SPOP to homeodomain-interacting protein kinase 2 (HIPK2), resulting in a nondegradative ubiquitination of HIPK2.
