TL;DR: The modENCODE project as mentioned in this paper has been used to study the functional regulatory network of Drosophila melanogaster and Caenorhabditis elegans worms, including the binding sites of transcription factors.

The inositol phosphatase SHIP2 enables sustained ERK activation downstream of FGF receptors by recruiting Src kinases.
Bohumil Fafilek,Lukas Balek,Michaela Bosakova,Miroslav Varecha,Alexandru Nita,Tomas Gregor,Iva Gudernova,Jitka Krenova,Somadri Ghosh,Martin Piskacek,Lucie Jonatova,Nicole H. Cernohorsky,Jennifer Zieba,Michal Kostas,Ellen Margrethe Haugsten,Jørgen Wesche,Christophe Erneux,Lukáš Trantírek,Deborah Krakow,Pavel Krejci,Pavel Krejci +20 more
TL;DR: Loss of SHIP2 converted FGF-mediated sustained ERK activation into a transient signal and rescued cell phenotypes triggered by pathologic FGFR-ERK signaling, demonstrating that the adaptor rather than the catalytic activity ofSHIP2 was required.
The SHIP2 interactor Myo1c is required for cell migration in 1321 N1 glioblastoma cells
William's Elong Edimo,Ana Raquel Ramos,Somadri Ghosh,Jean-Marie Vanderwinden,Christophe Erneux +4 more
TL;DR: Cell migration is very much reduced in Myo1c depleted cells, concomitantly with a decrease in FAK Tyr397 phosphorylation, focal adhesion length and PI(4,5)P2 immunostaining.

Fibroblasts derived from patients with opsismodysplasia display SHIP2-specific cell migration and adhesion defects.
Somadri Ghosh,Céline Huber,Quentin Siour,Sérgio S.G. Sousa,Michael Wright,Valérie Cormier-Daire,Christophe Erneux +6 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that both migration and adhesion are very much disrupted in OPS‐derived fibroblasts and suggested that signaling events linked to migration and particularly to adhesion, which are lost in OPS patients, would prevent normal endochondral ossification.

Lipid phosphatases SKIP and SHIP2 regulate fibronectin‐dependent cell migration in glioblastoma
Ana Raquel Ramos,Somadri Ghosh,Matthias Dedobbeleer,Pierre A. Robe,Bernard Rogister,Christophe Erneux +5 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that integrin activation in U‐251 cells leads to colocalization of both SKIP and SHIP2 in ruffles, where they act as potential drivers of cell migration.
