Deciduous autologous tooth stem cells regenerate dental pulp after implantation into injured teeth
Kun Xuan,Bei Li,Hao Guo,Wei Sun,Xiaoxing Kou,Xiaoning He,Yongjie Zhang,Jin Sun,Anqi Liu,Li Liao,Shiyu Liu,Wenjia Liu,Chenghu Hu,Songtao Shi,Yan Jin +14 more
TL;DR: It is shown that implantation of autologous tooth stem cells from deciduous teeth regenerated dental pulp with an odontoblast layer, blood vessels, and nerves in two animal models and in humans, suggesting that hDPSCs are able to regenerate whole dental pulp and may be useful for treating tooth injuries due to trauma.

Hydrogen Sulfide Promotes Tet1- and Tet2-Mediated Foxp3 Demethylation to Drive Regulatory T Cell Differentiation and Maintain Immune Homeostasis
Ruili Yang,Ruili Yang,Ruili Yang,Cunye Qu,Yu Zhou,Joanne E. Konkel,Shihong Shi,Yi Liu,Chider Chen,Chider Chen,Shiyu Liu,Dawei Liu,Yi-Bu Chen,Ebrahim Zandi,Wanjun Chen,Yanheng Zhou,Songtao Shi,Songtao Shi +17 more
TL;DR: Hydrogen sulfide promotes Tet1 and Tet2 expression, which are recruited to Foxp3 by TGF-β and IL-2 signaling to maintain Foxp 3 demethylation and Treg-cell-associated immune homeostasis.

MSC-Derived Exosome Promotes M2 Polarization and Enhances Cutaneous Wound Healing.
TL;DR: The findings provided the evidence that MSCT elicits M2 polarization of macrophages and may accelerate wound healing by transferring exosome-derived microRNA.
Circulating apoptotic bodies maintain mesenchymal stem cell homeostasis and ameliorate osteopenia via transferring multiple cellular factors.
Dawei Liu,Xiaoxing Kou,Xiaoxing Kou,Chider Chen,Shiyu Liu,Yao Liu,Wenjing Yu,Tingting Yu,Tingting Yu,Ruili Yang,Ruili Yang,Runci Wang,Yanheng Zhou,Songtao Shi,Songtao Shi +14 more
TL;DR: The previously unknown role of apoptotic bodies in maintaining MSC and bone homeostasis in both physiological and pathological contexts is identified and implies the potential use of apoptosis bodies to treat osteoporosis.
Advancing application of mesenchymal stem cell-based bone tissue regeneration
TL;DR: An overview of autogenous/allogenic and ECM-based bone biomaterials for reconstructive surgery and applications of MSCs-mediated bone healing and tissue engineering to further offer principles and effective strategies to optimize M SCs- based bone regeneration are discussed.
