Packet-size aware scheduling algorithms in guard band for time sensitive networking
Chuwen Zhang,Yi Wang,Ruyi Yao,Boyang Zhou,Liang Cheng,Yang Xu,Xiaoguang Li,Jian Cheng,Bin Liu +8 more
- 01 Sep 2020
TL;DR: An algorithm family named Packet-size Aware Shaping (PAS), inspired by abstracting the problem of utilizing the guard band to a classic Precedence-Constrained Knapsack Problem (PCKP), which works with the existing TSN standards.

BubbleTCAM: Bubble Reservation in SDN Switches for Fast TCAM Update
Cong Luo,Chuhao Chen,Hao Mei,Ruyi Yao,Ying Wan,Wenjun Li,Sen Liu,Bin Liu,Yang Xu +8 more
- 10 Jun 2022
TL;DR: A new TCAM management mechanism named BubbleTCAM is proposed to enable fast TCAM update, in which available empty entries are defined as bubbles, and the performance can be improved by up to 196x.

CoLUE: Collaborative TCAM Update in SDN Switches
Ruyi Yao,Cong Luo,Hao Mei,Chuhao Chen,Wenjun Li,Ying Wan,Sen Liu,Bin Liu,Yang Xu +8 more
- 17 May 2023
TL;DR: CoLUE is the first work that combines TCAM update and rule placement, making full use of TCAM in distributed switches, and not only does it accelerate update speed, it also keeps the TCAM space load-balance across switches.
