Deep and shallow structures of large pockmarks in the Turkish shelf, Eastern Black Sea
TL;DR: In the Eastern Black Sea, circular and elongated pockmarks are present between 180-and 300-m water depths in the Eastern Mediterranean as mentioned in this paper, with diameters of 50-120 m and 150-200 m wide with crater depths of 10-25 m, respectively.
The Fethiye-Burdur Fault Zone: A component of upper plate extension of the subduction transform edge propagator fault linking Hellenic and Cyprus Arcs, Eastern Mediterranean
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors show that the structural architecture of the northern sector of the Rhodes Basin includes a large crustal-scale fold-thrust belt which is overprinted by numerous faults with small extensional stratigraphic separations.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a synthesis of results from a MIGRATE working group that focused on the definition and assessment of hydrate in Europe, including the western and eastern margins of Greenland, the Barents Sea and onshore and offshore Svalbard, the Atlantic margin of Europe, extending south to the northwestern margin of Morocco, the Mediterranean Sea, the Sea of Marmara, and the western, southern margins of the Black Sea.

Acoustic evidence for shallow gas accumulations in the sediments of the Eastern Black Sea
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of gas and gas-filled sediments on the Turkish margin of the Eastern Black Sea were investigated using both sonar and high-resolution seismic surveys, and shallow gas was detected on the subbottom profiler records.
Evidence for widespread creep on the flanks of the Sea of Marmara transform basin from marine geophysical data

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyze pervasive undulations identified in swath bathymetry and new high-resolution multichannel seismic (MCS) refl ect data from the Sea of Marmara, Turkey.
