First observations on the abundance and composition of floating debris in the North-western Black Sea
TL;DR: A ship-based visual survey carried out in the North-Western part of the Black Sea, providing the first preliminary data on the characteristics of floating debris in Romanian waters, finds that plastic items remained undoubtedly the most abundant type of litter.

TL;DR: In this paper, a 3D bathymetry, flow velocity, suspended-load concentration, and liquid and solid discharge data were acquired throughout several cross sections along the Sulina channel, in order to investigate the distribution of water and sediment discharges and their influence against the river bed.
