Abstract: The invention relates to an electronic device. The electronic device comprises a display screen, a first key, a second key and a processor, wherein at least one virtual key is displayed on the display screen; the first key is used for responding to the press of a user and outputting a first trigger signal; the second key is used for responding to the press of the user and outputting a second trigger signal; and the processor is simultaneously and electrically connected with the first key and the second key and used for controlling automatic turn-off or turn-on of the virtual key after the first trigger signal and the second trigger signal are received at the same time. The invention also provides a controlling method for the virtual key. In the operating process of the electronic device, the operation of an application program is not affected due to error touch of the virtual key, so that user experience of the electronic device is improved.
