Abstract: In this paper, the star pattern recognition algorithms for star trackers are introduced, which are probability statistics algorithm, triangle algorithm, match group algorithm, grid algorithms, singular value decomposition algorithm, neural network algorithm, and genetic algorithm. Then they are divided into two groups and their performances are compared. Some conclusions are given.
