Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spreading code assignment method, a radio base station and a mobile station in a mobile communication system that allows a radio base station to autonomously and optimally set an original scramble code of the radio base station. SOLUTION: The spreading code assignment method includes the steps of: creating a collection packet for collecting original information used to set an identifier of a radio base station installed around a present station; broadcasting the collection packet to the other radio base station via a network; receiving a response packet that responds to the collection packet, from the other radio base station; extracting original information of the other radio base station inserted in the received response packet; storing the extracted original information; and setting the identifier on the basis of the extracted original information. - 20 Oct 2005
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a base station apparatus capable of automatically updating parameters required for radio communication, where a pair of an identifier for identifying its own base station and a radio communication parameter is notified to another base station existing in the vicinity of its own BS, and a path loss value between another BS and a mobile station is acquired.
