Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device capable of effectively receiving a visible light and an infrared light with a single plate structure. SOLUTION: A first and a second light receiving part 11a, 11b are arranged between a first and a second vertical CCD 13a, 13b alternately arranged in a horizontal direction. The first light receiving part 11a comprises a B-signal charge storage part and an R-signal charge storage part laminated in a depth direction in a semiconductor layer. The B-signal charge storage part photoelectrically converts the blue (B) light in its interface to store the B-signal charge. The R-signal charge storage part photelectrically converts the red (R) light in its interface to store the R-signal charge. The second light receiving part 11b comprises the G-signal charge storage part and the IR-signal charge storage part laminated in a depthwise direction in the semiconductor layer. The G-signal charge storage part photoelectrically converts the green (G) light in its interface to store the G-signal charge. The IR-signal charge storage part photoelectrically converts the infrared (IR) light in its interface to store the IR-signal charge. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
