Abstract: The invention discloses a self-adaptive communication echo cancellation method for voice communication. The method mainly comprises the following steps: A, carrying out echo cancellation; b, carryingout tap weight vector updating: B1, calculating residual signal square sequence E2 (n); B2, calculating a weighted median residual error to obtain a weighted median residual error sigma (n) at the current moment n; B3, calculating an M estimated value to obtain an M estimated function value psi (n) of the residual error at the current moment n; B4, calculating a zero attraction vector to obtain azero attraction factor of a tap weight coefficient so as to form zero attraction vectors F (n) of n at the current moment; and B5, updating the tap weight vector of the filter, and introducing an M estimation function value and the zero attraction vector into an updating formula to obtain a tap weight vector W (n + 1) of the filter at the next moment n + 1; C, carrying out repeating. The method ishigh in convergence speed, low in steady-state error and good in anti-impact effect.

- 29 May 2015
TL;DR: The adaptive filter for sparse system identification as discussed by the authors is an adaptive filter that uses an algorithm in the feedback loop that is designed to provide better performance when the unknown system model is sparse, i.e., when the filter has only a few non-zero coefficients, such as digital TV transmission channels and echo paths.
