Abstract: The invention relates to the technical field of storage of persistent memories and solid state disks, in particular to a persistent memory key value storage system which comprises a persistent memoryfor storing variable-length key value pairs and a solid state disk and indexes the key value pairs of the persistent memory and the solid state disk according to a secondary index structure. Accordingto the system, the storage space of a persistent memory is managed by actively setting a tombstone marked log structural persistent memory space distributor; according to the system, a garbage collection mechanism with a cold and hot scheduling function is adopted, and a garbage collection strategy is adjusted based on the access heat and the persistent memory utilization rate; wherein the secondary index structure is formed based on a metadata index and a version index supporting multi-version heterogeneous storage; wherein the access popularity is obtained by statistics based on a popularity statistical method of lazy popularity decline. According to the persistent memory key value storage system, the characteristics of low latency of the persistent memory and large capacity of the solid state disk are mixed, and the key value storage service with efficient performance and expandable capacity can be provided at the same time.
