Overlapped handwriting input method

Abstract: The invention discloses an overlap handwriting input method. The method comprises the following steps of: when a touch unit moves on a touch screen, recording and displaying a stroke trace in a handwriting region on the touch screen; judging whether the stroke written at the present and all previously input strokes in the color of A belong to the same character; if the stroke written at the present and all the previously input strokes in the color of A belong to the same character, keeping the color of the stroke at the present constant, and otherwise, judging whether a character of a non-activated view layer exists on the screen; if the character of the non-activated view layer exists on the screen, clearing away a character image of the non-activated view layer and relevant stroke information of the character, and otherwise, defining the character consisting of all the strokes, besides the stroke at the present, in the color of A to be the character of the non-activated view layer; and submitting the character data of the non-activated view layer at the present to a recognition engine for recognition, and outputting a recognition result. By the overlap handwriting input method, a user can execute continuous handwriting input on the friendly interface according to a natural writing habit, and continuously write a plurality of handwritten words, so that the handwriting input efficiency is improved.
