Abstract: The embodiment of the invention discloses an original content arbitration method and device. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining content identifiers of the original arbitration contentand the arbitrated content indicated by the arbitration request, extracting the original arbitration content and the arbitrated content according to the content identifiers, detecting a similarity value between the original arbitration content and the arbitrated content, and when the similarity value is greater than a similarity threshold, determining that the arbitrated content has an infringement behavior. By adopting the method and the device, the similarity value between the original contents of the two arbitration parties is calculated by responding to the arbitration request, so that whether the arbitrated party has infringement behaviors or not can be determined, and the original right protection efficiency is improved.
