Abstract: The invention discloses a missort troubleshooting method and system. The method comprises the following steps: coupling a high frequency carrier signal to a power line of an electricity meter to be tested in an electromagnetic coupling manner; determining whether an electromagnetic wave signal corresponding to the high frequency carrier signal in the power line is detected; and in the case that the electromagnetic wave signal corresponding to the high frequency carrier signal is received, determining that the electricity meter to be tested is connected correctly. By adoption of the missort troubleshooting method and system disclosed by the invention, the technical problems that the working efficiency is low, the operation is cumbersome, the safety is poor and a power failure accident is easy to be caused in the process of connecting a carrier transmitter to the power line during missort troubleshooting in related art are solved.
