Abstract: An array substrate comprises a pixel electrode and a reflective layer. The pixel electrode has an opening or a protrusion that make a plurality of LC domains when electric field is applied to the LC layer. The reflective layer is formed at the boundary of the LC domains. The plurality of the LC domains make the LCD have a wide viewing angle. The reflective layer make the domain boundary be a reflective mode of the LCD. The LCD can have a good display quality.
