Abstract: The invention discloses a method and device realizing amplified display in a virtual reality image. The method comprises the steps of in display of a VR image, when a local amplification instruction is received, determining a picture or a video frame in which a to-be-amplified part in the VR images is, wherein the VR images comprise multiple images of different angles at the same time point; searching whether a local amplified picture corresponding to the image or the video frame exists; if yes, displaying the local amplified picture in the VR image; and if not, amplifying the to-be-amplifiedpart and then displaying the amplified part in the VR image. Through adoption of the method, a user can check various details in the VR image clearly without changing the angle, and can check freely,so that the use experience is improved.
