Abstract: This system is formed by a watertight
encapsulation in whose interior the medium-voltage
capacitor (12), and a screen (17) that serves to
distribute the electric field, is placed; said
encapsulation being connected to a cable (4) or to a
medium-voltage cubicle (1) with isolation and
interruption by means of gas or another dielectric, using
connectors (3) and/or shielded cables (7) that are
connected through the cubicle bushings (2), thus allowing
the transmission and reception of analogue and/or digital
signals through the electrical power distribution system,
but maintaining the isolation and safety characteristics
of the transformer centre, as well as a high degree of
protection against environmental conditions.
