Abstract: A magnetic memory device, a memory module installing same and a memory system are disclosed. The magnetic memory device includes magnetic memory cells switching to one among at least two states according to a magnetization direction, and includes a mode register for supporting a plurality of operational options of the magnetic memory device. The memory module includes a module board, at leat one magnetic memory device chip installed on the module board, and a buffer chip installed on the module board for managing operation of the magnetic memory device chip. The memory system includes a memory controller communicating with the magnetic memory device and transceives electrophotic conversion signals or photoelectric conversion signals via an photocoupler coupled between the magnetic memory device and the memory controller.
