Abstract: The invention relates to an ionization current measurement device and a measurement method. The ionization current measurement device comprises an ionization chamber, an electrometer, a precision capacitor, a compensation voltage source and a voltmeter, wherein when the ionization chamber is illuminated by rays, air inside the ionization chamber is ionized, generated ionized charges are collected by a collecting electrode and thus to-be-measured current is formed; the electrometer is connected with the collecting electrode, the to-be-measured current charges the precision capacitor, and the electrometer measures the to-be-measured current value; one end of the precision capacitor is connected with the electrometer, and the to-be-measured current charges the precision capacitor; the timer is connected with the electrometer; one end of the compensation voltage source is connected with the other end of the precision capacitor and provides compensation voltage for the precision capacitor; and the voltmeter is connected with the compensation voltage source and the precision capacitor for measuring a voltage value of the precision capacitor. According to the ionization current measurement device and the measurement method, leakage quantity is small, and measurement precision is high.
