Abstract: The invention aims at a bus rapid transit coming road which comprises a straight bus route besides a left-turn line. Meanwhile, an intersection is provided, wherein a bus rapid transit coming right road of the intersection has a medial strip, and the overall width of a motor vehicle lane plus the width of the medial strip is larger than or equal to 25 meters. The invention provides a left-turn bus rapid transit passing-through method, intersection design matched with the method and a signal control method, wherein the left-turn bus rapid transit passing-through method enables left-turn bus rapid transits to turn right and turn around to pass through the intersection according to a special phase indication or to turn left to pass through the intersection by utilizing a straight bus transit lane. According to the technical scheme, average delay time of the left-turn bus rapid transits passing through the intersection is shortened, the left-turn bus rapid transits can pass through the intersection in a signal cycle time period after reaching the intersection, and conflicts between the left-turn bus rapid transits and opposite straight social vehicles can be eliminated.
