Abstract: The transport container is for internal transportation of components in the electrical industry. It consists of a base, side section and stacking edges. The container is very rigid but is of a flexible design so that it can be used for different types of components. It is formed from standardised components so that it can be put together in modular form. The base (1), side section (2) and stacking edge (3) are all separate units which can be put together in various combinations. They are made from different materials. The base and the stacking edge (3) are made from a polystyrol and the sides from cardboard. They can be held together by meshing.
