Abstract: A flying insect trap consists of a housing having a plurality of channels, wherein each channel has a horizontal portion and a vertical portion. The channels are typically formed by a center wall which divides the housing into generally equal portions, thereby forming the channels. In accordance with one aspect of the invention, the center/common wall is continuous and generally vertical so that insects contacting the wall will fall into the generally vertical portion of the channel. The housing nests with a container which is used to store bait and to capture the flying insects once they have passed through the housing.
