Abstract: The invention discloses an electronic class board with a face recognition function, and belongs to the field of intelligent attendance. The class board comprises a shell, a control circuit board and acamera, the control circuit board is electrically connected with the camera, the control circuit board further comprises a communication circuit and exchanges data with a server through the communication circuit, a fingerprint identification module is further arranged on the surface of the shell, and the server is connected with a face feature database and a fingerprint feature database; the server acquires a unique identification code of the electronic class board and course arrangement of the electronic class board within a certain period of time, judges whether the same face feature data or the face feature data with the similarity reaching a threshold value appears or not, if yes, fingerprint features for fingerprint check-in are collected, and the face feature data and the fingerprint feature data are sent to the electronic class card, otherwise, if not, only the face feature data to the electronic class card is sent, and the fingerprint recognition module is in a low-power-consumption state. According to the invention, a fingerprint sign-in mode is provided for the same-egg twin/multiple-birth persons or the persons with relatively high similarity.
