TL;DR: This paper survey and compare different ontology languages and tools by the aid of an evaluation framework and hopes the evluation results can be used in helping user to choose suitable language and tool in the task of onotloy building.
The Critical Role of Information Processing in Creating an Effective Knowledge Organization
TL;DR: A conceptual framework and an architecture for an effective knowledge organization (EKO) that emphasizes the important role of information processing in facilitating the creation of a dynamic knowledge capability, which is the essence of an EKO is provided.

History-less checking of dynamic integrity constraints
TL;DR: An efficient implementation method is described for dynamic integrity constraints formulated in past temporal logic that extends every database state with auxiliary relations that contain the historical information necessary for checking constraints.

Rule management and evaluation: an active DBMS perspective
Sharma Chakravarthy
- 01 Sep 1989
TL;DR: This work has shown that the ability to monitor and react to both database and nondatabase events in a timely and efficient manner is pivotal for supporting a variety of database functions in an elegant manner.

TL;DR: From about the mid-1980' s to theMid-1990' s there was a flurry of research activity in the area of database triggers and constraints, seeing the development of numerous research proposals and prototypes.
Modularization techniques for active rules design
TL;DR: A modularization technique for active rules called stratification is introduced; it presents a theory of stratification and indicates how stratification can be practically applied and is illustrated by several examples.
