Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device and a program, capable of temporarily displaying a next screen corresponding to a button selected by proximity of an operation body.SOLUTION: An image formation device includes an operation display part in which a plurality of buttons are divided across a plurality of screens and displayed hierarchically, and a control means which controls an entire device. The control means, in a picture quality adjusting screen 208 displayed in a screen display region of a set screen 200, when an operation body 90 approaches a "picture quality of original" selection button (A), halves the screen display region and temporarily displays a picture quality adjusting screen 208 and an option display screen side by side (B). When the operation body contacts to a "map" selection button displayed on the option display screen that is temporarily displayed (C), the "map" selection button is pressed down, and the option display screen is displayed over the entire screen display region in a confirmation maner, and a set value of "map" is set for a set function of the "picture quality of original" (D).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
