Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk playback technology efficiently reading information. SOLUTION: In the disk playback device 10, a second driving part 32 supplies a driving current to a laser diode 34, and a high-frequency superposing circuit 22 superposes a high-frequency current on the driving current. A jitter measuring part 44 measures jitters in a predetermined sampling cycle, and a superposition control unit 46 controls turning ON/OFF of the superposition of the high-frequency current by the high-frequency superposing circuit 22. The jitter measuring part 44 may average a plurality of jitter sampling values to calculate a jitter measurement value. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT

Optical disk-reproducing device
Sawa Yukihiro
- 21 Apr 2011
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed an optical disk-reproducing device which reduces influences on a radiowave receiver by suppressing the occurrence of a radiation wave in a high frequency band due to operation of a high-frequency module during a reproduction operation.

Optical information reproducing apparatus and optical information reproducing method
Toshihiko Suzuki,利彦 鈴木 +1 more
- 09 Feb 2005
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed an optical information reproducing apparatus for reproducing information by irradiating a medium with a light beam, which is capable of performing a complete low power consumption operation and preventing rapid temperature rise inside a device housing by monitoring disk operation transition and reproduction performance margin, and accordingly setting an appropriate high frequency superimposition mode.

- 18 Mar 1994
TL;DR: In this paper, the output interruption of a laser diode when the out-of-servo is detected in an optical disk drive is controlled by using a counter circuit for counting an error signal for exceeding threshold and a comparator for detecting that the count value reaches a reference value and outputting a control signal.

Thresholding circuit, thresholding method, and optical disk device
Yuichi Suzuki,雄一 鈴木 +1 more
- 09 May 2003
TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of making the thresholding operation of an input signal, on which a noise component is superposed, appropriate is solved by discriminating whether the time length in which the threshold processed value is kept exceeds the prescribed time length or not.
