Abstract: The invention discloses a data forwarding unit based on a Handle identifier. The data forwarding unit comprises a dynamic configuration module, a Handle identifier data identification module and a matching-forwarding module. A system provided by the invention is applied to network devices, such as an exchanger and a router, and supports data packet parsing, matching and dynamic configuration of forwarding rules through data interaction with network systems, such as a SDN manager, thus, the network device can identify a data packet in the Handle identifier, and can perform specified operationsfor the data packet of the specified Handle identifier according to the dynamically configured rules.
