Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a key to be used for deciphering an enciphered sentence in safe, and to easily perform cryptographic communication. SOLUTION: A transmitter and a receiver are connected through a network so as to mutually perform communication. At the transmitter, a plane sentence is enciphered while using a common key (102). The enciphered sentence is transmitted from the transmitter to the receiver together with a key generation program in a disclosed key enciphering system (103). At the receiver, a pair of disclosed key and secret key is generated according to the key generation program (201), the disclosed key is transmitted to the transmitter (203) and the secret key is held at the receiver. At the transmitter, the common key is enciphered while using the disclosed key transmitted from the receiver (105). The enciphered common key transmitted to the receiver is deciphered while using the held secret key (205). The enciphered sentence is deciphered while using the deciphered common key (206).
