Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic backwashing type strainer capable of easily adjusting the position between a striker and a limit switch.SOLUTION: A strainer 10 can backwash a cylindrical filtering screen 2 arranged in an inside of a strainer body 1 removing refuse from liquid. The strainer 10 includes a backwashing arm shaft 22, a backwashing arm 23, a striker 3st having a plate cam, and a limit switch 3sw. The backwashing arm shaft 22 is arranged in a center of the filtering screen 2, and rotates the backwashing arm shaft 23. The striker 3st has a rotation center fixed by the backwashing arm shaft 22, and has a swollen end part 3bu having a part of a contour swollen. The limit switch 3sw is arranged opposing to the striker 3st, and has a roller plunger 3rp driven by the swollen end part 3bu of the striker 3st. The striker 3st is detachably fixed to the swollen end part 3bu, and has an adjustment plate 3ap curved to be abutted to the contour of the swollen end part 3bu.
