Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application mechanism and an application device which can apply a liquid material stably for a long period of time.SOLUTION: An application mechanism includes: a container 21 which has a storage part 21x for storing a liquid material 100 on a top part side and an opening part on a bottom part side; a first lid part 22 which closes the opening part of the container 21; and a second lid part 23 which is arranged in the container 21 and tightly closes the storage part 21x. The first lid part 22 has a first hole part which vertically penetrates, the second lid part 23 has a second hole part which vertically penetrates, and a top part of the container 21 has a third hole part 21d which vertically penetrates. The application mechanism further includes; an application needle 24 which is structured so that it can penetrate the first hole part and the second hole part and at last a tip end part 24a can penetrate the third hole part 21d; and a drive part which is structured so as to reciprocate the application needle 24 vertically and applies the liquid material 100 on a substrate 5 by penetrating the third hole part 21d and projecting the tip end part 24a from the top part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
