Abstract: En el ano 2006 Shapiro, Skowronek y Galvin editaron un libro que puso al dia el estudio de las instituciones al presentar un conjunto de traba- jos representativos de las principales tradiciones en el estudio del tema. Los editores no pidieron a los autores que abandonaran su enfoque para mimetizarse -o dialogar- con los demas; en vez de eso, les pidieron que asumieran con claridad su postura, pero presentandola de forma atractiva para aquellos colegas que pertenecian a otras dis- ciplinas o corrientes. El libro reunio importantes aportaciones de John Elster, Clauss Offe, John Ferejohn, Rogers Smith, entre otros. En aquella obra Kathleen Thelen aporto una critica a la teoria del equilibrio interrumpido, que es la forma mas comun de ver el cambio segun dos de los institucionalismos mas prominentes: el his- torico y el de la eleccion racional. Oponiendose a la idea de que las instituciones unicamente cambian en momentos breves de intensa transformacion -casi siempre producto de algun shock exogeno, para luego entrar en largos periodos de reproduc- cion e inercia-, la autora propuso que el cambio institucional muchas veces es un proceso gradual y continuo. Abstract: En el sentido platonico, una idea es una abstrac- cion que condensa una experiencia individual. "Gobernar el mundo" —o lo que actualmente se conoce como tal, ya que esto ha variado segun la evolucion de la civilizacion occidental— ha sido una idea que ha conducido a los lideres de las potencias dentro del sistema internacional a buscar el poder sobre sus vecinos, su region geo- grafica o, en su defecto, especialmente a partir del siglo xx, sobre el orbe. La idea de "gobernar el mundo" representa la necesidad de evitar la anarquia y el caos que por naturaleza causa el hombre en su lucha por sobrevivir y alcanzar sus metas; misma que suele representar una amenaza para sus projimos. Si se traslada esta lucha de supervivencia al Sistema Internacional, se observa que existe un grupo de individuos que luchan por sobrevivir y obtener el poder uno sobre el otro, sea para protegerse o para expandirse, conquistando nuevos territorios. Ahora bien, registrar la historia de la idea de "gobernar el mundo" sin "tomar partido", es decir, sin escribirla como un vencedor, es una tarea que requiere habilidad y paciencia. Abstract: There are several contextual variables that influence the satisfaction, motivation and academic performance of adolescents in school, giving importance to the teacher figure. The aim of this work will be to analyze the satisfaction profiles, motivation and the learning climate in function of the academic performance of the student and the competition of the teachers as well as to exemplify the design, methodology and possible analysis to be carried out in order to respond to the stated objectives. The sample will be composed of 890 PE students (442 men and 448 women), with a mean age of 15.49 years (SD = 1.79) belonging to public and private ESO and BACH centers in the Region of Murcia and Alicante. The instrument to be used will be a questionnaire composed by the scales: Academic Performance, Satisfaction with Life (SATV), Satisfaction with School (ISC), Evaluation of Teaching Competencies Scales (ETCS), Perceptions of Teachers Emphasis on Goals Questionnaire (PTEGQ), Physical Education Classroom Instrument (PECI), Intention to Partake in Leisure-Time Physical Activity, Importance and Utility of Physical Education (IEF) . In this article we present the design of the research. We believe that the results obtained will have a great impact on the Spanish educational system and will incite to reflect on different aspects of the curriculum in secondary and high school.
