Dynamic sensitivity-based finite element model updating for nonlinear structures using time-domain responses
TL;DR: In this article, a dynamic sensitivity-based model updating approach by using the time-domain responses is proposed to obtain the numerical model for predicting the nonlinear dynamic responses with high accuracy.

Identification of Nonlinear Stiffness and Damping Parameters Using a Hybrid Approach
TL;DR: The objective was to establish an experimental procedure and show direct AFMs that unequivocally can be assigned as nonlinear systems with respect to both stiffness and compressive strength.

Model Updating Using Frequency Response Functions Based on Sherman–Morrison Formula
TL;DR: A model updating method using frequency response function (FRF) is proposed based on Sherman–Morrison formula, in which only the initial FRFs and parameter perturbations are employed to calculate the sensitivity avoiding repeated finite element analyses and improving the computational efficiency.

Sensitivity Analysis of Nonlinear Transient Response Based on Perturbation in the Complex Domain
TL;DR: The sensitivity analysis method for calculating the first-order derivatives of the nonlinear transient response using the real-imaginary perturbations (RIP) in the complex domain is proposed and results show that the response sensitivity with respect to multiple design parameters is obtained accurately.
