Control of a Constrained Flexible Rotor on Active Magnetic Bearings
TL;DR: In this paper, a discrete-time constrained model predictive control (MPC) algorithm based controller was proposed to stabilize a rotor supported on active magnetic bearing (AMB) subject to input and output constraints.

Active inhibition device for cutting vibration of high-speed milling electric spindle
Huan Zhao,Zhao Jie,Zhang Haitao,Wu Yue,Ding Han,Xin Zhao,Zhang Guoqiang +6 more
- 11 Mar 2015
TL;DR: In this article, an active inhibition device for cutting vibration of a high-speed milling electric spindle is presented, which can greatly improve the dynamic stiffness and damping of a spindle-cutter system, so that the vibration is inhibited.

RETRACTED: Dual-mode predictive flexible rotor control for active magnetic bearings with input constraints:
TL;DR: In this paper, a dual-mode predictive flexible rotor controller is developed for a rotor-AMB system with input constraints, which enlarges the region of attraction, and hence can effectively mitigate more intensive vibrations excited by external disturbances.
