And the lead-free cutting bronze alloy for casting comprises Bi 0.5~4.0 wt%, B 5~100 ppm, and one of Mg 0.01~0.1 wt%, Ni 0.8 wt% or less, and the rest comprises Cu and a small amount of inevitable impurities.

CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing the brass alloy for molding comprises the processes of blending raw materials for the brass alloy comprising 56.0 to 61.0 wt.% of Cu, 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% of Al, 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% of Fe, 0.2 to 0.6 wt.% of Sn, 0.15 to 0.5 wt.% of Ni, 0.20 wt.% or less of Pb, 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% of Bi as a processability improving additive and a balance of Zn; smelting the materials at a temperature of 950 to 1050 deg.C for 1 to 2 hours, thereby adjusting to the planed composition of the constituents after charging the blended raw materials for the brass alloy into a smelting furnace; removing the floated non-metallic inclusions by floating non-metallic inclusions as maintaining the temperature for 5 to 15 minutes after increasing a temperature of the smelting furnace to 1060 to 1090 deg.C; maintaining again for 5 to 15 minutes after lowering a temperature of the smelting furnace to 1000 to 1050 deg.C and forcibly charging 3 to 10 ppm of B as a grain refiner into the bottom part of the smelting furnace; and tapping the molten metal at a temperature of 1000 to 1050 deg.C.
