GSK3 inhibitor-BIO regulates proliferation of immortalized pancreatic mesenchymal stem cells (iPMSCs).
Hui Cao,Yuankui Chu,Xiao Lv,Pubin Qiu,Chao Liu,Hui-ru Zhang,Dan Li,Sha Peng,Zhongying Dou,Jinlian Hua +9 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that BIO plays a key role in the regulation of cell mass proliferation and maintenance of the undifferentiated state of iPMSCs.
Conophylline Promotes the Proliferation of Immortalized Mesenchymal Stem Cells Derived from Fetal Porcine Pancreas (iPMSCs)
Hui-ru Zhang,Hui-ru Zhang,Dan Li,Dan Li,Hui Cao,Lie Xiao,Yuankui Chu,Yaofu Bai,Ya-ping Jin,Sha Peng,Zhongying Dou,Jinlian Hua +11 more
TL;DR: It is found that conophylline can robustly stimulate iPMSCs proliferation, even promote their potential differentiation into islet-like clusters analyzed by cell counting, morphology, RT-PCR and real-time PCR, Western blotting, glucose-stimulated insulin release and insulin content analysis.

Immortalized porcine pancreatic stem cell line and construction and differentiation methods thereof
Hui Cao,Yuankui Chu,Jinlian Hua,Zhongying Dou +3 more
- 21 Nov 2012
TL;DR: In this article, an immortalized porcine pancreatic stem cell line is described, which can be differentiated to form functional islet cell mass after induction, can reduce the blood glucose concentration after being transplanted into a mouse model suffering from diabetes and can maintain a normal blood glucose level within two weeks.

Construction and identification of recombinant retroviral vector of human ngn3 gene and its packaging cell line
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that a PT67-ngn3 packaging cell line was successfully established, and this could facilitate the study of differentiation of the human fetal pancreatic progenitor cells into insulin-producing cells by using the ngn3 gene.
