- 06 Mar 2015
TL;DR: In this paper, the adaptive synchronized switching harvesting (ASSH) technique is proposed to reduce the amplitude of the first two modes by about 9.27 dB and 0.96 dB in the case of the same amplitude ratio (3:3).

Self-powered semi-passive vibration damping system based on the self-sensing approach
TL;DR: The proposed self-powered semi-passive vibration damping system based on self-sensing approach can detect switching time without lag, while keeping simplicity of implementation with a small number of piezoelectric elements.

TL;DR: In this article, a self-powered semi-passive vibration damping system based on self sensing approach is proposed and investigated, where the same piezoelectric element can be used as a sensor and an actuator.
Adaptive synchronized switch harvesting: A new piezoelectric energy harvesting scheme for wideband vibrations
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed an adaptive synchronized switch harvesting (ASSH) technique, which is derived from the ESSH technique and based on a new and effective switch control law, which can prevent the switch in energy transferring circuit from over-frequent on-andoff and accordingly enhance the extracted power under multimode vibration.
