Minocycline mitigates isoflurane-induced cognitive impairment in aged rats
TL;DR: Investigation of the effects of minocycline pretreatment on isoflurane-induced cognitive impairment in aged rats found it to be remarkably alleviated, and it is suggested that minocyCline can be used as a clinical treatment to mitigate the cognitive impairment induced by isofLurane in elderly patients.

A zero-waste strategy to synthesize geopolymer from iron-recovered Bayer red mud combined with fly ash: Roles of Fe, Al and Si
Yan Ke,Sha Liang,Huijie Hou,Yong Hu,Xilong Li,Ye-lin Chen,Xingwu Li,Li Qiong Cao,Shushan Yuan,Keke Xiao,Jingping Hu,Jiakuan Yang +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a fly ash-based geopolymer was synthesized from the iron-separated RM residue and fly ash with a mass ratio of 25:75, under the optimized conditions, the recovery efficiency of iron and the total iron content in the iron concentrate could reach the maximum of 51.48 and 54.13 wt%, respectively.

Enhanced bromine fixation and tar lightweighting in co-pyrolysis of non-metallic fractions of waste printed circuit boards with Bayer red mud.
TL;DR: In this paper , a co-pyrolysis process for non-metallic fractions (NMFs) from WPCBs with Bayer red mud (RM) is proposed to upgrade pyrolyisation products.

Environmentally sound management of industrial solid waste: A paradigm of proposed bi-tetrahedron
Yan Ke,Ye-lin Chen,Jingping Hu,Huijie Hou,Junda Quan,Huabo Duan,Shushan Yuan,Jiakuan Yang +7 more
TL;DR: A bi-tetrahedron model is proposed to manage industrial solid waste (ISW) sustainably, comprising compositions, processing, structure, and properties, and pollutant species, transfer, and solidification, to enhance recycling efficiency and mitigate environmental pollution.
