Abstract: The invention discloses a preparation method for an absorption layer of a solar cell and a preparation method for the solar cell. The preparation method for the absorption layer comprises the steps: sequentially sputtering a copper-gallium alloy layer and an indium layer on a substrate which is provided with a back electrode in a deposited manner; putting a copper-indium-gallium prefabricated dieinto a reaction cavity with a first temperature threshold, letting Se atmosphere with a first carrier gas flow value into the reaction cavity, and enabling the copper-indium-gallium prefabricated dieto react continuously in a first time period; letting Se atmosphere with a second carrier gas flow value into the reaction cavity, and enabling the copper-indium-gallium prefabricated die to react continuously in a second time period; and carrying out the annealing processing of the substrate at the preset second temperature threshold in a third time period. The preparation method for the absorption layer of the solar cell enables the Se element to pass through the unsaturated In-Se ad Cu-Se binary phase to diffuse towards the bottom of the prefabricated die through the control of the carriergas flow, the reaction temperature and the reaction time of the input Se atmosphere, and prevents the gallium elements from gathering at the bottom.
