Experimental study on the interaction between fire and water mist in long and narrow spaces
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of water mist fire suppression tests were conducted with the rubber ignition as the sign of flashover, and an open type nozzle was mounted 1100 mm from the ethanol pan center and activated 8 minutes after the ethanol being ignited.

The thermal criteria on rubber ignition in flashover fires under longitudinal ventilation surroundings
TL;DR: In this article, the up-wind rubber sample was early ignited by the ∅500mm alcohol under 0.1m/s surroundings at the radiant heat flux to the floor 15.17kW/m2 and the average upper hot smoke layer temperature 519°C.

Numerical study of a cascade cycle for the reciprocating solid-state magnetic refrigerator
Jing-Ru He,Chun Ya,Xing Tang,Li Ma,Jianghong Wu,Biwang Lu +5 more
TL;DR: In this article , a reciprocating solid state magnetic refrigeration (MR) cycle at room temperature is described and numerically simulated, and an ingenious double-layer structural design enables the regenerative process to be spontaneously completed between high and low-temperature magnetocaloric material (MCM) lattices.
