FKF1 F-box protein promotes flowering in part by negatively regulating DELLA protein stability under long-day photoperiod in Arabidopsis
Jindong Yan,Xinmei Li,Bingjie Zeng,Ming Zhong,Jiaxin Yang,Piao Yang,Xin Li,Chongsheng He,Jianzhong Lin,Xuanming Liu,Xiaoying Zhao +10 more
TL;DR: It is shown that the mutation of FKF1 could cause accumulation of DELLA proteins, which are crucial repressors in GA signaling pathway, thereby reduced plant sensitivity to GA in flowering and suggesting a potential mechanism linking the FKf1 to the GA signaling DELLa proteins.
Integrated proteomic and metabolomic analyses reveal significant changes in chloroplasts and mitochondria of pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) during Sclerotium rolfsii infection
Hongdong Liao,X. Wen,Xuelei Deng,Yonghong Wu,Jianping Xu,Xin Li,Shu-dong Zhou,Xuefeng Li,Chun-Mei Zhu,Feng Luo,Yanqing Ma,Jingyuan Zheng +11 more
TL;DR: New insights are provided into the response mechanism in pepper stems during S. rolfsii infection, which can guide future work on fungal disease resistance breeding in pepper.

The Harbinger transposon‐derived gene PANDA epigenetically coordinates panicle number and grain size in rice
Donghai Mao,Shentong Tao,Xin Li,Dongying Gao,Mingfeng Tang,Cheng-De Liu,Dan Wu,Liangli Bai,Zhankun He,Xidong Wang,Lei Yang,Yuxing Zhu,De-Chun Zhang,Wen Zhang,Caiyan Chen +14 more
TL;DR: A novel insight is presented into the epigenetic control of rice yield traits by a Harbinger transposon‐derived gene called PANDA, which epigenetically coordinates panicle number and grain size.
The blue light receptor CRY1 interacts with FIP37 to promote N6-methyladenosine RNA modification and photomorphogenesis in Arabidopsis.
Jiaxin Yang,Lan Li,Xin Li,Ming-Shuang Zhong,Xinmei Li,Lina Qu,Hui Zhang,Dongying Tang,Xuanming Liu,Chongsheng He,Xiaoying Zhao +10 more
TL;DR: It is found that blue light induced N6 -methyladenosine (m6 A) RNA modification during photomorphogenesis partially via CRY1, and a new insight is indicated in modulating m6 A methylation and stability of PIFs, and an essential molecular link between m 6 A modification and determination of photomorphesis in plants is established.
Overexpression of BnGA2ox2, a rapeseed gibberellin 2-oxidase, causes dwarfism and increased chlorophyll and anthocyanin accumulation in Arabidopsis and rapeseed
Jindong Yan,Fujiang Xiang,Piao Yang,Xin Li,Ming Zhong,Reqing He,Xinmei Li,Wusheng Peng,Xuanming Liu,Xiaoying Zhao +9 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that BnGA2ox2 regulates stem elongation and chlorophyll and anthocyanin accumulation in rapeseed and Arabidopsis and is a new candidate gene for breeding dwarf varieties of rapeseed.
