Dihydromyricetin attenuates cisplatin-induced acute kidney injury by reducing oxidative stress, inflammation and ferroptosis.
Zhe-Ming Xu,Jinghui Zhang,Wenwen Wang,Suhan Zhou,Minghua Yu,Xingyu Qiu,Shan Jiang,Xiaohua Wang,Chu-Yik Tang,Shuijie Li,Runzhi Zhu,Wanhong Peng,Lin Zhao,Xiaodong Fu,Andreas Patzak,Pontus B. Persson,Liang Zhao,Jianhua Mao,Q. L. Shu,En Yin Lai,Gensheng Zhang +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper , Dihydromyricetin (DHM), a flavonoid derived from Ampelopsis grossedentata, has varied pharmacological activities, such as decreasing the levels of renal function biomarkers, mitigated renal morphological damage, and downregulated the protein levels of kidney injury molecule-1 and neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin.

Tacrolimus Causes Hypertension by Increasing Vascular Contractility via RhoA (Ras Homolog Family Member A)/ROCK (Rho-Associated Protein Kinase) Pathway in Mice
Xiaohua Wang,Shanqun Jiang,Lingyan Fei,Fang Dong,Lanyu Xie,Xingyu Qiu,Yan Lei,Jie Guo,Ming Zhong,Xiaoqiu Ren,Yi Yang,Liang Zhao,Gensheng Zhang,Honghong Wang,Chu-Yik Tang,Luyang Yu,Rui-Ping Liu,Andreas Patzak,Pontus B. Persson,Michael Hultström,Qichun Wei,En Yin Lai,Zhihua Zheng +22 more
TL;DR: The RhoA/ROCK pathway may play an important role in tacrolimus-induced hypertension by enhancing Ang II-specific vasoconstriction, and reactive oxygen species may participate in this process by activating the Rho a/Rock pathway.
