TL;DR: It is suggested that high levels of BAs induced by HF could impair ISC function by triggering ER stress, resulting in the disruption of the intestinal mucosal barrier.

CD133 expression in cancer cells predicts poor prognosis of non-mucin producing intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
TL;DR: CD133 expression in ICC tumor cells indicates poor prognosis of the disease and might be associated with TGF-β related EMT alterations.
Comparison of the safety and effectiveness of endoscopic biliary decompression by nasobiliary catheter and plastic stent placement in acute obstructive cholangitis.
TL;DR: Endoscopic biliary decompression is an effective treatment for patients with acute obstructive cholangitis, and in contrast to other studies, it is found an increased rate of blockage in the ERBD group and a greater decrease in liver enzyme levels in the ENBD group.

Cholangiographic features and endoscopic treatment of biliary strictures.
TL;DR: Endoscopic procedure using endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography was found to be an effective modality for treating biliary strictures after OLT.

Endoscopic treatment for patients with gastric outlet stricture and biliary obstruction in the absence of endoscopic ultrasound: a retrospective study.
TL;DR: Most GOS, encountered during ERCP, can be safely dealt with using conventional endoscopic approaches in patients with biliary obstruction, however, the efficacy of endoscope adjustment or balloon dilation is better for benign GOS than for malignant GOS.
