Dietary Mannan Oligosaccharides Modulate Gut Inflammatory Response and Improve Duodenal Villi Height in Post-Weaning Piglets Improving Feed Efficiency.
Alessandro Agazzi,Vera Perricone,Fabio Omodei Zorini,Silvia Sandrini,Elena Mariani,X.R. Jiang,Alessandra Ferrari,Maurizio Crestani,Thi Xuan Nguyen,Valentino Bontempo,Cinzia Domeneghini,Giovanni Savoini +11 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that MOS can exert beneficial effects on gut health, improving duodenal morphology and modulating the expression of inflammation-related genes in post-weaning piglets, accompanied by improved feed efficiency.

Effects of dietary gallic acid on growth performance, diarrhea incidence, intestinal morphology, plasma antioxidant indices, and immune response in weaned piglets
TL;DR: Dietary GA supplementation did not affect the growth performance of piglets, but reduced diarrhea incidence was observed in piglets administered 400 mg/kg dietary GA, and dietary GA linearly increased ileal secretory IgA content.

Effects of soybean isoflavones on the growth performance, intestinal morphology and antioxidative properties in pigs.
TL;DR: It is suggested that a long-term exposure to soybean isoflavones enhances the growth performance, protects the intestinal morphology and improves the antioxidative properties in pigs.

Evaluation of a synthetic emulsifier product supplementation on broiler chicks
Valentino Bontempo,Marcello Comi,X.R. Jiang,Raffaella Rebucci,V. Caprarulo,Carlotta Giromini,D. Gottardo,Eleonora Fusi,Simone Stella,Erica Tirloni,Donata Cattaneo,Antonella Baldi +11 more
TL;DR: Findings show that AMT supplementation to broiler chicks may have a beneficial effect on growth performances (BW, ADG and FCR) and carcass dressing and may affect meat colour and lipid metabolism (cholesterol and HDL).

Effect of dried tangerine peel extract supplementation on the growth performance and antioxidant status of broiler chicks
X.R. Jiang,Hai-jun Zhang,Jing Wang,Shu-geng Wu,Hongyuan Yue,Hui-Yuan Lü,Hu Cui,Valentino Bontempo,Guang-hai Qi +8 more
TL;DR: The results of the present study indicate that dietary DTPE with low supplemental dosage (≤160 mg/kg) might positively modulate the systemic antioxidative defence property of chicks.
