- 29 Jan 2010
TL;DR: In this paper, an improved buffering method for controlling excess fiber length and reducing post-extrusion shrinkage in loose buffer tubes is presented, which yields first-quality loose buffer tube not only during steady-state operation but also during ramping, thereby increasing production efficiency and reducing waste.
