Cancer-Cell-Biomimetic Nanoparticles for Targeted Therapy of Homotypic Tumors.
Huiping Sun,Huiping Sun,Jinghan Su,Qingshuo Meng,Qi Yin,Lingli Chen,Wangwen Gu,Pengcheng Zhang,Zhiwen Zhang,Haijun Yu,Siling Wang,Yaping Li +11 more
TL;DR: A unique biomimetic drug-delivery system composed of 4T1-breast-cancer-cell membranes and paclitaxel-loaded polymeric nanoparticles (PPNs) (cell-membrane-coated PPNs) demonstrates superior interactions to its source tumor cells and elongated blood circulation, and displays highly cell-specific targeting of the homotypic primary tumor and metastases.

Cancer Cell Membrane-Coated Gold Nanocages with Hyperthermia-Triggered Drug Release and Homotypic Target Inhibit Growth and Metastasis of Breast Cancer
Huiping Sun,Huiping Sun,Jinghan Su,Qingshuo Meng,Qi Yin,Lingli Chen,Wangwen Gu,Zhiwen Zhang,Haijun Yu,Pengcheng Zhang,Siling Wang,Yaping Li +11 more
TL;DR: The authors report a biomimetic drug delivery system composed of doxorubicin‐loaded gold nanocages as the inner cores and 4T1 cancer cell membranes as the outer shells that can realize the selective targeting of the homotypic tumor cells, hyperthermia‐triggered drug release under the near‐infrared laser irradiation, and the combination of chemo/photothermal therapy.

The performance of docetaxel-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles targeted to hepatocellular carcinoma
TL;DR: Results implied that this targeted nanocarrier of docetaxel could enhance its antitumor effect in vivo with low systemic toxicity for the treatment of locally advanced and metastatic HCC.

In vitro and in vivo evaluation of actively targetable nanoparticles for paclitaxel delivery.
Zhenghong Xu,Wangwen Gu,Jun Huang,Jun Huang,Hong Sui,Zhaohui Zhou,Yongxin Yang,Yongxin Yang,Zhou Yan,Zhou Yan,Yaping Li +10 more
TL;DR: PEG-coated biodegradable polycyanoacrylate nanoparticles conjugated to transferrin could be an effective carrier for paclitaxel delivery and the life span of tumor-bearing mice was significantly increased when they were treated with ATN, in particular, three mice survived over 60 days.

Arginine-chitosan/DNA self-assemble nanoparticles for gene delivery: In vitro characteristics and transfection efficiency.
TL;DR: The results suggested that Arginine-chitosan (Arg-Cs)/DNA self-assemble nanoparticles (ACSNs) could be a safe and effective non-viral vector for gene delivery.
