The present invention relates to a control method for a surface mounting device for multiple users, which performs control such that a plurality of users can use one surface mounting device in a remote place and mounting programs requested by the users are received and processed in the order requested. The control method comprises: a step (a) of receiving requests for executing mounting programs from user terminals; a step (b) of determining the execution order of the mounting programs; a step (c) of controlling the surface mounting device in accordance with an ordered mounting program, and performing a unit operation corresponding to each unit instruction of the mounting program according to the unit instruction; a step (d) of requesting a correction operation from a corresponding user terminal when an error occurs in the unit operation; a step (e) of extracting a correction value in a corrected state and correcting the unit operation with the extracted correction value; a step (f) of repeating the steps (c) to (e) until all unit operations of the mounting program are performed; and a step (g) of terminating the mounting program when the correction operation is not completed in the step (e), or when all the unit operations are performed, and executing a next mounting program. According to the method, each user can be prevented from excessively occupying the surface mounting device and the waiting time can be predicted by requesting permissions from the mounting program and permitting control authority within the range of the permissions.
