Response to "Below‑the‑ankle arterial disease: a new marker of coronary artery disease in patients with diabetes and foot ulcers".
Umer Bin Tariq,Satesh Kumar +1 more
TL;DR: It is found that peripheral arterial disease (PAD) below the ankle (BTA) is independently associated with coronary artery disease (CAD) and newly diagnosed acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and that this incidence rate was significantly higher than that reported in the Above‐the‐Ankle (ATA) group.
Comment on: Assessment of exercise capacity using field walking tests in patients after the Fontan procedure: A case-control study.
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors highlight the importance of dogmalysis, the value of honest scientific reflection, and the aggressive seeking of evidence-based answers as it pertains to the air medical environment.
